Senior Developer C++ C# .NET - Watford - £45k plus benefits
Senior Developer C++. C#, .NET. We are looking for a Senior Developer with a successful track record in Windows C++ development who has also had recent experience developing a Windows application using C# and .NET. The successful candidate will be expected to start contributing to the current project as early as possible, participating in all phases of the development life-cycle, from vision to delivery. Responsibilities will mainly be designing and developing many elements of the application. The ability to work well in a team which includes testers, technical authors, translators and customer service staff is essential. Knowledge and experience of the Agile Programming will be an advantage but not essential. May be opportunities for world wide travel. Must have: IT Development experience 5 or more years. Visual C++ - at least 3 years. Visual C# and .NET - at least 1 year. ATL*COM - at least 2 years. Understanding, use and programming of RDBMSs, in particular Oracle and*or SQLServer. Must be a self-starter with plenty of initiative. Good Knowledge of Visual Basic 6. Use of Source Control e.g. Perforce. You must live within a 45 minute commute to Watford or be willing to relocate.
